Fireplace Firebacks add a touch of romance, history and practicality to your fireplace. Firebacks are both functional and decorative. They are designed to retain and radiate heat from the fireplace into the room, while adding a unique and attractive appearance to the fireplace interior. Firebacks also prevent and conceal damage to the firebrick at the rear of the fireplace. Firebacks work equally well with either wood fires or gas logs. Firebacks normally lean against the back of the fireplace, but we also offer Fireback Stands as an alternative means of installation.
